Nepalese Encounters Tours & Travels is a family-run travel company in Lakeside, Pokhara. Our story began in 1970, when Durga Datta Pahari welcomed the first backpackers on the overland trail into what became Hotel Mandala; in 2001 his son Narayan founded Nepalese Encounters to share Nepal with travellers from all over the world.

Today we organise treks in the Annapurna, Everest, Langtang and Dolpo regions, sightseeing in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Bhaktapur and Lumbini, adventures such as rafting, paragliding, jungle safari and mountain flights, and tours to Tibet and Bhutan — plus hotel bookings and air and bus tickets across Nepal.
